Vacqo ("Vacqo", "we", "us") operates the Vacqo platform that connects apartment seekers with current tenants in Nigeria. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email us at hello@vacqo.com.

Information we collect

Account information — name, email, phone number and role (seeker or current tenant) you provide when signing up.
Listing information — details, photos and videos you upload about apartments you list.
Transaction information — payments processed via Paystack and any bank-transfer proofs you upload.
Usage data — pages visited, searches, saved apartments and declared interests.
Device data — browser type, IP address and cookies used to keep you signed in.

How we use your information

We use your information to run the platform, verify listings, process payments, notify you of activity on apartments you care about, and improve the experience. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. With your consent we also use analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can accept or decline optional cookies via the banner shown on your first visit.

Sharing

We share limited information with (i) Paystack to process payments, (ii) Supabase, our cloud infrastructure provider, to store your account and listings, and (iii) verified landlords/lawyers when you declare interest in an apartment. We do not sell data to third parties.

Your rights

You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@vacqo.com.
